Tom De doncker is a Belgian artist who creates charcoal artwork in which the human figure is a medium for existential tension. His work depicts anonymous bodies, veiled figures and enclosed interiors that function as mental spaces shaped by isolation, confrontation, guilt… Rendered through a direct, physical language of light and texture. He works primarily with charcoal, pastel, and oil paint, often using handmade materials.

Tom graduated in Visual Arts in Turnhout, and works at Axel Vervoordt in Wijnegem. His works have been shows, among others, at Frappant Kaartmuseum, De Bijl Zoersel, Passage Turnhout, Smashing Colors Goirle and Gallery Cie Antwerp
